Mary’s Tomatillo Salsa
Mary’s tangy tomatillo salsa.
Ingredients
- Tomatillo de milpa asados
- 2 Chiles Guajillo (rehydrated in hot water)
- 2 cloves of raw garlic
- 1 chunk of raw onion (about 1/8)
- Cilantro
Instructions
- Blend chille, raw garlic and onion with a little bit of the hot water used to rehydrate the chile.
- Then add the tomatillos asados and blend leaving it still a little chunky.
- Season with salt and a pinch of chicken bouillon.
Family Notes
Salsa Tita Mary makes most frequently. She always measures by heart and admits she uses any dehydrated chiles she finds in the kitchen. If you want it to be spicier then add chile de árbol.
